A traditional style smokehouse used by native Alaskans to preserve subsistence salmon for the winter supply. This smokehouse is on the bank of the Kvichak River in the village of Igiugig, Bristol Bay, Alaska. The carcasses on the rack outside will be fed to the villagers' dogs.
