  • Stand up paddlers floating down the Placer River which drains from the Spencer Glacier down to Turnagain Arm, Alaska. This unique river paddle is accessed by riding a train on the Alaska Railroad into the Kenai Mountains. It's then possible to float the Placer River back out of the mountains to the sea.
